Do you see our science unit in your REAL LIFE? If so, post about it! At least one complete sentence earns you one point extra credit. Remember, your sentence should start with a capital letter and have an end mark. Try to write a because clapper with an example popper! If your post does not follow this rule then it will not count for extra credit (and it will be deleted). Happy posting!

Why Blog?

This space is for YOU! Your classmates and YOU will be the authors of this blog. The purpose is to show REAL LIFE science in action. So anytime you see science happening around you, blog about it! You can send pictures or text from your computer or mobile device, and they will automatically appear on the blog (after they are OK'ed by me)! Any post that includes your name and a minimum of one well written sentence will be worth 1 extra credit point! You can earn up to 10 points per quarter from blogging!

 Send your emails to the address listed on in page 0 of your lab notebook You can also download the free Blogger app, but be sure to check with parents and your mobile carrier first as you may incur charges through your mobile plan. Or you can just log in using your google account (your school login with @d323.org added to the end of it) and post right from the site!

Our first unit is "Becoming a Scientist", and will focus on lab safety, metric measurement, and testing conducting a fair test. If you post a picture be sure to describe it, and explain what about this unit it shows. You need at least one complete sentence for credit.

DO NOT post last names or your location. Even though this is a private blog, it's good practice to never post your name or your location. And remember...please use correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation! Ths s nt a txt msg 2 ur bffs :)
