Do you see our science unit in your REAL LIFE? If so, post about it! At least one complete sentence earns you one point extra credit. Remember, your sentence should start with a capital letter and have an end mark. Try to write a because clapper with an example popper! If your post does not follow this rule then it will not count for extra credit (and it will be deleted). Happy posting!

I bought a geode at Yellowstone. It must be a metamorphic rock, because when I broke it open it had purple crystals in it.
Great thought! One point extra credit for you! A geode are a pretty interesting item...they are actually sedimentary or igneous rocks that have a hollow space inside them in which a crystal forms as water and minerals fill the hollow space. Since you got it at Yellowstone, my guess is that it's probably an igneous rock! Cool!
